Words of praise
In cheering other people's ways, In doing just the best you can With every task and every plan. It's silence when your

It's loyalty when duty calls. It's courage when disaster falls. It's found in laughter
And in song
It's in the silent time of prayer In happiness and in despair. In all of life and nothing less, We find the thing
We call success.
Today I have been catching up on my Sofos projects while my Mum was doing the house work. Locke was sick (spewing up) so we all stayed home. This poem is all about success and what it is and I think it says that success can mean different things to different people at different times. :) I like this poem because I think it also says be the best person that YOU can be.
As part of my project I need to ask other people what success means to them - what does it mean to you?

Success to me is - achieving a goal or accomplishment, having someone smile at me, feeling good about something I've done. These days just waking up each day is another success.
Success to me is being happy doing what you do, and it doesn't really matter what it is as long as you are enjoying it! - Dad

Success is looking back at all the hard times you have had, the challenges you have faced and the choices you have made - and being able to look in the mirror and be pleased with who you are today, knowing that you made it through those hard times and have come out at the other end a better, stronger person. I think it's also about being able to admit where you went wrong and what you did to make it right - cause we all make mistakes along the way- thats what life and being successful is all about!!
